Astro25 Portable CPS Treble Setting

I see that CPS has a treble setting that allows adjustment of the treble from -32 to +32. At present, my setting is at "0" which I assume is the factory default. The analog RX audio in my XTS2500 is too high-pitched for my taste so I was considering changing this setting. Has anyone found a best setting that is different than "0", or is it just a matter of choice from radio to radio?
