At the ambulance I work at, we have a Command Plus console...

I'm wondering if I need the RSS and Cable to program the console, or if there is some key sequence that I can use to be able to get into programming mode. One thing I want to change is the time on the clock, which I would assume I could do by getting into a user changeable settings menu on it.

The console is connected to an MSF5000 base, with 4 frequencies. Beyond that, I haven't played all that much with the system....

Ideas?

That unit is programmed with CommandPlus RSS and the proper cable.

However, if I recall the clock can be changed without RSS. I'll check.

Yes, I did, however, the MSF is just the actual radio portion, as I understand it, it's completly seperate from the actual console.

Can't remember the exact buttons, but press the MODE button and the button just below it on the console panel at the same time. The panel will go into user program mode and allow you to set the clock, select the mic, set the view screen angle, etc. When finished with changes, just press the mode button to exit. I think the options will display at the bottom of the screen once in the user mode.

Alrighty, I'll give it a try tommrow.

I'm guessing it shouldn't matter if the button is "programmed" or not - there is hardly anything enabled in the console itself.

I tried that last night, and was able to get it working.

Anyone know what the default password is for the console's service menu and what things you can do once in there? I was hoping to poke around, but didn't know what it was.
