Most of the discussion of these has been in the for sale/wanted section it seems. The units are cheap enough but are they useable? I read where some say they control them by PC. According to RCI this is not possible:
"Your request to Mobat USA was forwarded to our office for handling. We are the master distributor in the USA and handle dealer and non dealer inquiries.
According to our engineering group, you need a control head to operate the transceiver. Having said that, we have heard of people who claim they are controlling the transceiver without the control head via a computer, but we do not know what they are doing to make it work. This has come up several times and each time we check with engineering, they say no can do.
The FLN2516 $210.00 and will take a few weeks to obtain. We will ship it from VA.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or if you need additional information.

What are "you" doing to make it work?
