XTS3000 VHF strange issue

Hello fellow batlabbers,
I got this issue with my 3000 , Everytime the backlight is on and I key up the radio the radio resets. The radio never does this during regular operation. I thought maybe it was a battery issue , but after buying a new battery it still does the same thing.
Any ideas on what is causing this and a fix for it would be awesome!
