XTL 5000 O5 MICRO SD SLOT?

This may be covered somewhere else i searched but came up empty except for a little info on the apx 7500. I was wondering what the micro sd slot on the back of the 05 control head is used for? anyone?

I would have hoped that some day, there would be a real use for a micro SD card for programming, even if only for options.
Customer programmed options, that is.
Of course, you would have to have functional selections for 'that' radio.
No reason not to implement such a slot for portables for easy programming changes.....MDC, QC-II, DTMF, PL/DPL codes and the like.
Handy I'd say.
