HT1250 Federal Model?

I got a HT1250 VHF that is supposed to be a surplus old stock Federal model.
I have CPS for Ht1250's will that work, or will I have a problem writing to this radio?

As long as your cps is newer than the firmware in the radio it will work. If the cps don't like the radios it will give you an error message but it's not gonna damage anything

If you do the Region code hack to your CPS you shouldn't have any problems.

Check your PM'S
