Hi All-
I am new to this forum and would appreciate it if someone with knowledge can answer this question.
I own a Motorola Minitor II SV and the Grey case is deteriorated.
I also have an EMPTY Minitor II (Standard NON SV Minitor II) Red case.
I wanted to ask if I would be able to remove the Minitor II SV "GUTS" Circuit Board Assebly and place it in the Standard Mintor II Red case I have with out any modifications to the case?Any assistance or replies would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
LMO

Yes! It's quite simple, but the top of the pager will still be great

1. Open battery door, remove battery, remove battery door itself by pulling gently out and upwards
2. Unscrew the single screw at the bottom of the pager
3. pull the guts from the top gently, the whole guts will come out together.
4. place into the new case
5. replace screw at the bottom
6. replace battery door by placing the bottom on the tab and pressing firmly
7. replace battery

Thank you very much for the information.Yes I understand about the top still being the grey color, thats ok as long as the Minitor II SV fits into the clean new case.Again thanks much for your reply.

FOLLOW UP--
Just wanted to Follow up on the Motorola Minitor Case change...
The whole project went flawlessly!I performed this myself effortlessly and in addition I also changed over the top of the case from black to red.The top was a bit of a semi challenge being that the Minitor II SV knobs were outwardly bigger and inwardly a little bit tighter in the snap ring, but, with the right hand tools and gentle force the change over went very very well.I even changed over the squelch button and got it solder in place and it works fantastic!Things got into a bit more of an adventure as I had the case open and I actually added a SECOND FREQUENCY in F2 by following BATLABS 3 step instructions and with out any tune up (I have no test gear what so ever) the second frequency is S9 SOLID COPY! So I now have a NEW RED Minitor II CASE for the Minitor II SV ! Bravo Batlabs and Kudos to all its members for supporting the site. The Radio I have now looks great and works flawlessly...Sweet!
