I am trying to program a CM300 32ch VHF for 2 meters. I am difficulty with frequencies below 146.000Mhz. The CPS will not take them. I tried the trick for my Maxtrac's and have not been successful. I have looked unitl my eyes are burning on the net for a solution, again, nothing.

Would it be possible to tx and rx at 144.500? That is the lowest we will use. I am not going to use it for APRS on 39.

I have a feeling that these radios and software are locked from going below 146.000Mhz no matter what.

Thanks

Mike

See this thread:

It starts out as a thread for region hacking, but later on details out-of-band hacks as well.
