Hi, I'm new to the board and have searched previous posts for this "problem." I recently purchased a NTN8831A off of Ebay and think there might be a problem with it. When I plug the charger in the LED lights green and stays lit... Anyone know the deal with it?

No light should be on when the charger is empty, so if I were you I'd exchange or
return it. Did you try a battery in the unit?

Light does not change when battery inserted. But I also can not check to see if batteries are charging figuring it might just be an LED malfunction.

Where did it come from is the bigger question. Lots of counterfeits on ebay.

Compared to other "Authentic" chargers I have seem this seems legit. Here is the link for you guys to take a look.

that's the real deal, but yours is fried. Normal behavior would be for the LED to flash red-green once when connected and off. Would only show solid green when a battery is fully charged.

Seller owes you a refund or another charger.

Seller issued a refund, but to be on the safe side I'll bring it over to my local /\/\ Dealer just to make sure. I still have a usable NTN4734A so at least I'm not dead in the water.

Single chargers are disposables if not in date for warranty replacement.
