Hello Everyone. I have some speaker mics that work fine, but have nicks or chunks missing from the cord. What do you do to repair them? These are in a non-public safety environment. I have been using electrical tape, but it unravels, gets gooey, etc. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks. Henry

Newer, better, types of electrical tape are now available, in colors as well as black. This tape is pretty thin, very tough, and conforms to the shape of the wire it covers. You'll have to shop around to find it but it's there and it works great. The alternative is to replace the entire microphone cable.

Hello. The mics are for HT600's and MT1000's. Just some old knock-around stuff. Henry
