HT1550XLS PTT Lag

I recently upgraded from an HT1250 to an HT1550XLS (both UHF) and noticed that there is a significantly longer lag time between pressing the PTT button and transmitting on the HT1550XLS (about one second) than on the HT1250 (about 1/4 second). I couldn't find anything in the configuration that should affect this and I don't yet have another HT1550XLS to test. Has anyone else noticed this?

I recently owned an HT1550XLS and didn't notice any type of lag on PTT. One thing that comes to mind is maybe an old firmware issue. What firmware revision does the radio have?

Did your agency move from conventional operation to a LTR trunking format by chance ?

Did you look for a section dentoing timing between TX and RX in CPS?

Usually in the milli-second range, normally, the delay is from RX to TX, to allow for tone turn off on the receiving radio.

I don't remember the firmware version off the top of my head, but I acquired another HT1550XLS with a later firmware revision and the problem still exists. Perhaps this is an issue common to this model. It's not a huge deal (only about one second), but it is noticeably different from HT1250.

Nope, still analog conventional.

I couldn't find anything in the CPS that would seem to affect this.
