I have a xtl2500 and was wanting to match the color display on my xtl5000 is this possible even with a custom color display?

The XTL2500 M5 control heads support the same color output schemes as the O5 head.

can you do the custom colors with the 2500 that you can do with the 5000

No. Preset Green, Amber and Red only.
