CM300 to Zetron 4010

Post by arlojanis »

I need to connect a CM300 to a Zetron 4010. I will use E&M local control. Do you use an electrolytic capacitor to block the DC on speaker connection? Do you add a 15 ohm load resistor when disconnecting the speaker? Any other tips?

I do NOT use the speaker connection, it IS affected by the radio's volume control.

I use the filtered RX line level output to feed the console input. A blocking capacitor on the high side is a good insurance so you do not blow out anything in the radio.
