Ok I have an early remote mount Spectra A4 remote mount the housing is the old style where the cable attaches to it Vs the A9 styple plug.
The question is I Have a W4 Astro Spectra will the cable setup work or do I have to swap it out with a astro cable.

The cable setup will work. You'll need to replace the interconnect board on the drawer if you want the keyload/flash port to work.
