PMLN5011A Temple Transducer Headset

Gentleman,
First post here and hope to get some results if available. I have a Yaesu VX-170 ( I know bad word) with a CT-91 3.5mm & 2.5mm connection. I am trying to attach a Motorola PMLN5011A temple transducer, I get audio from the headset but PTT does not work. I can push the PTT on the Yaesu and transmit, both Motorola connections are mono.
