Can I change the LS version to a regular version by changing the Tanapa of the radio? Or do I need to do more than that?

Using a copy of an inofficial lab CPS floating around there, you can dump in a factory codeplug from a regular HT1250. I've not seen this software personally, but I know its out there. Be sure to save your tuning values FIRST however as this will over-write everything in the radio.
