CDM1550 - is tuner software identical across regions?

Can CDM tuner software be used to align "identical" radios from other regions?
I know that the CPS is region "locked" but do you need the correct region Tuner software?

The European Tuner I have is called:
"Tuner for Professional and Entry Level Professional Radios - Version R02.15.00 Dated Dec 30 2008"
Is this the same identical tuner as used with the CDM1550 and GM338 (Asia Pacific) and PRO5100 (Latin American) stuff?
Can the tuner be used on the high power 40W as well as the 25W radios?
I suspect the answer is yes but I want to be cautious!!!

yes, but your version is ancient, might want to update it to something new

Any idea what the latest version is?
I think there is a R02.16.00..but I can't see anything later?

Professional Radio Tuner R02.16.00 --- 04 JAN 2011 is the latest.
