converting brl200 to work on 165mhz

I have a set of bremi brl200 amps, they are currently on CB 27mhz band but I would like to use them on 165mhz, can I just use them or do they need to be altered in any way

What you are proposing to do is not possible, so if I were you I would forget about it.
In the USA 165 mHz is usually a Federal Government band besides, so why would you,
again if you're in the United States, want to be transmitting in that area?

Understood. I should have noted your location in the post.

Making a 27 mHz amplifier into one that covers and works well on
165 mHz would be possible, but only IF you removed all of the tuned input and
output circuitry (coils, capacitors, etc.) and replaced them completely, so you can
see why it's not a realistic idea.
