So i have been trying to find information online for the last week on the Canadian MTX Series ( MTX150/450/1500/4500/1550/4550) and with little success i emailed many people and have not had any responses. So i decided to experiment with what i had with me and i hope this helps out any other Motofans who come across the Canadian MTX Series.

The software you need is the CPS R02.01.03 Part number : HVN9067 this software will program all the radios i am talking about but is known as the CPS for the MTX9250 series.

The cable is a little but wonky as well it uses the same connector and pinouts as the HT750/1250/1550 series radio's.

RIB ---- Radio
1 ---- 7
15 ---- 8 & 9
25 ---- 12

There is also a resistor of 10K between Pin's 1 and 15 of the RiB and a jumper between pins 4 and 11

I hope this helps anyone i know that it was a real headache to find the information online and google was completely useless!

It's too bad that MTX4500 isn't sold in the States. Several years ago I had a 9250, & liked it. I then wanted to find the exact same radio in UHF. 403-470. At a hamfest I found a HT1250, & was about to lay out the cash, when I said to the seller, this doesn't work like a 9250, what's going on here? I didn't buy the radio, & was bummed how differently the radios operated. Later on I realized the radio I wanted was only sold in Canada. One day on my yearly trips to Montreal I'll find one. Actually, I did respond to you, once I was back from vacation. This is the problem with emailing people directly, you're only asking a single person at a time. This is what the board is for! If you had posted your question on the board, it would have been seen by potentially hundreds of people (including a large number of us Canucks) and you in all likelyhood would've received answers much more quickly.

Thank you for posting your findings on the board, at least. Now, Google won't be so useless!
