I correctly understand that it's limited to 800/900 MHz bands? No OBT 3600 trunking even when Smartnet / PrivacyPlus 3600 Baud Analog Trunking Firmware applied?

Correct, 800/900 only, there is no flash for VHF or UHF radios to support Type 2
