I need to ask if there is a way to copy a code plug from a cdm1250 45watt to a cdm1250 25watt? It says cannot clone model number mismatch, I know the models are different due to wattage but I want to use the same programming. Is this possible or can someone telle how to do this without writing the code if again?

Is there anyway to cut and paste or copy fields so I don't forget something in the programming or anything to make it easier?

you can open two versions of the cps side by side and open both codeplugs at the same time and copy/paste that way?

Right, and you can't copy and paste between the two. This has been asked and answered so many times before. Manually typing the data in from one to the other is NOT copy and paste. I'm done arguing with you, as usual you have no idea what you're talking about. Stop doing the board a disservice and posting bad information.

NO, you can't drag & drop, you can copy / paste anything, highlight it and copy it then paste in the other
