How to insert a blank channel -- MT1500/Astro 25 CPS

I'm programming an MT1500...in Zone A, I have channels 1 thru 12 populated. I want to create a Channel 16 (the last channel in the Zone). Is there a way to leave channels 13/14/15 "blank"? How do you do it in the CPS? If you can't leave them blank, what other options are there?

I don't believe so, but you could assign them to some bogus, receive-only channel with a frequency/tone pair that will never happen. Alternately, repeat the assignment from channel 16 in all of them (I'm going to assume you're wanting to make 16 a fireground, emergency, etc. channel?)
