Have you tried to read it, then write back to the radio without changing anything? Many times the radio will see a check sum error and give you that error display. This happens all the time when your hacking the Spectra radio features. The fix for that radio is to just read it and write back to it without making any changes. The software fixes the check sum error in the process.

I believe you are thinking 82, not 92. I had this happen to my spectra. 82 was a corrupt codeplug checksum. 92 was a corrupt command board checksum. It happened when I exited service mode (F2 in RSS) incorrectly. Going into service mode, and then exiting fixed the problem. Go "deep" in the service menu (as in Test mode or something, get it to read some service values first) and then exit.

Check the original thread out. http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=87731

I know its a different radio, but it may help.

that is why it happened. You CAN"T run a DOS program in Windows. If its a DOS program it has to be under DOS. They dont play well.

Did you try my technique, but in PURE DOS? Enter the Service Menu and exit. PURE DOS though, as in MS-DOS 6.22 or similar.
