Okay guys, I am sometimes slow to try new things since I get a little bit conservative and reluctant to try new things if the old stuff still works. Anyway, I finally have something that uses RG174 coaxial cable and I now need a short patch cord for it. I think 5 feet would do it. Does anybody have an suggestions on where to get one? I am little nervous about this because I want to make sure that I don't accidentally buy one with SMA connectors with Reverse Polarity, which I understand is common in the computer industry. I suppose the same places that carry LMR-400, etc. might carry this, but I am looking to my fellow Batlabbers for some advice. Also, if any are available with a 90 degree right angel connector that would be great.

Pasternack (http://www.pasternack.com/CableWizard.aspx) probably has what you want. Little more expensive, but it will be a quality assembly. If you want to spend less money, try L-Com (http://www.l-com.com/)

DigiKey carries jumper cables.

I don't see any instock with RG174, but do see some with RG58 and RG142

What do you need? SMA male to female? Male to male? Which end as a right angle? Will RG58/Rg142 be OK?

Select the connector type, then other options

I don't see ant 5 footers in stock, but a number of 4 footers.

Here are a few options:
Male to male, right angles, RG58, 48" http://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en ... ND/2003950
Male to male, straight, RG58, 48" http://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en ... ND/2003984

Thank you very much for the reply. I guess my ideal would be:

5 or 6ft of RG174 SMA Male Right-Angle to SMA Female Cable

Some places list this at over $40.00! (This reminds me of the Air Force $800 toilet seats!)

I will take a look at the URL you posted.
