GR300 with M120 programming

I have a GR300 that was setup as a UHF GMRS repeater, it was preprogrammed when I got it and functioning just fine. I obtained a serial programming cable and tried to change the frequency of the transmitter radio which is a 2 channel M120. Now, the M120 will not transmit the signal it receives. Also, before I tried to reprogram the M120, I noticed the speaker on the M120 never emitted any audio but, after my attempt at reprogramming the speaker is working.
Im not sure what I did, can anyone help me reprogram this radio so it works again as a repeater? I have no attempted to connect the serial canle to the RICK or receiver radio, only the M120 transmitter.

Did you re tune the cans? On a repeater with a duplexer you can't just change the frequencies, you also have to tune the duplexer, it's probablly blocking the new freq. you entered. The speaker in the tx radio don't need to work, you listen on the rx radio. It's also possible that you altered the pin settings so it's not set up to repeat now? Did you save the original programming when you read the radio the first time? You should have, just write that back to the radio.

Currently, there is no duplexer. I'm not sure what happened but, I pulled the Motorola RICK and both radios out of the cabinet and reseated the cables. This did not fix the fact that the M120 was receiving the signal but not retransmitting it out. While the repeater was powered up, I held down the Monitor button on the M120 and the SET-UP button the RICK. The M120 began to transmit in pulses and then stopped. I shut the power to the repeater off and powered it back up, now it functions normally.
Any idea what could cause this?
