So is it possible ? My wife has a Jeep Wrangler. Here VHF radio is an ICOM with a small remote head mounted on the console. This weekend I plan to move this to the upper windshield next to the Talon so it is easier to see. I put the xtl2500 control head in last weekend on the center console and she hates it. Her old UHF mobile was a Spectra with a HHCH and she loved it.

Currently the XTL2500 is a remote head.

Trying to make the wife happy to have a radio in her vehicle for me

It's needs to be a 5000 for the W3 or 03 head to work.
