APX 7000 firmware update process

Can someone direct me to any documented "how to" instructions for upgrading the firmware?
I've never upgraded one before and want to make sure I do it right. I have the .CVN file (from MOL). Anything else I need?
It's currently got R08 on it and I want to upgrade it to R09. I have CPS R08 and R09 (latest). Do I open up the current codeplug in CPS R09 and then what?

Appreciate the help!
Thanks!

Plug the radio in, load up R09 CPS, go to the Device menu, hit Radio Software Refresh, point it to the CVN, hit OK, follow the prompts. 10 minutes or less. The CPS will write the firmware into RAM, then the radio will flash itself.

If you have hardware encryption and the CVN has a new MACE firmware (I think R09 does... can't remember), you'll kill the keys even if IKR is enabled. Be prepared to keyload.

Awesome. Thanks! Sounds simple enough and exactly as I expected.

Edit: Just completed the upgrade and it went without a hitch. Thanks again!

I am new to the firmware update process. Can someone direct me to locating the latest .CVN for the APX 7000?

Quick question for those in the know - is it possible to do Bluetooth firmware updates with the APX?

Cheers,
Matt

Probably the easiest public safety radio line to do FW updates that Motorola has ever released....
