Hello
I like to know what's the difference between the 2 Motorola chargers : 4111AR & the 4114AR ????
I would like to use them to charge a NTN9858C IMPRES battery but Motorola doesn't state the this battery can be used in 4114AR charger ??????
thanks

So is it OK to charge the same IMPRES batteries between the 2 chargers ? V3.4 on the 4114AR & V3.9 on the 4111AR .

They're the exact same charger, so yes. WPLN4111 = WPLN4114 + US power cord.

What's the difference between V3.4 and V3.9 you ask? Here's info from the firmware release notes:
1. What’s the difference between V3.4 and V3.9?
Very Little: APX batteries are fully compatible with XTS chargers (w/inserts) with SW V3.4, therefore upgrading to V3.9 is not required. However, APX radio users leaving the radio in the “on” position will experience longer charging times. V3.9 has added SW to handle this situation if it happens occasionally. Motorola always recommends turning radio “off” when charging.
2. Can I charge APX batteries in XTS chargers with SW V3.4 using APX inserts?
Yes. APX batteries are fully compatible with XTS chargers with SW V3.4. Upgrade to V3.9 is not required.
3. I’m not using APX radios and my chargers have SW V3.4 in it. Do I have to upgrade to V3.9?
No. Upgrade to V3.9 is not required.
