Batboard

I was at a local hamfest today & saw a pristine XPR6550 for sale. I looked at the rear tag, & the ser # started with 037TX. Mine starts with 037TM. On my radio, the M means the radio was made in 2011. So the X would mean the radio I saw was made in 1997, but that's impossible. I verified 3 times the 5th digit was X. The tag said the FW was 1.06.00, so that's only a few years old. What's going on here? GARY

Pull up the serial number in MOL and look at the info, that should tell you everything.
