Batboard

We used to use a Motorola spacer for various applications.

They used to cost about 10 cents each, but the price took a huge jump recently, so I'm looking for an alternate.

The Motorola part# is a 4382292M01

They are .325” thick, 0.75” round and have a 0.25” hole in the center. They are a non-brittle plastic material (nylon?).

They look just like the one to the right of center of this picture. Does anyone know of a source for something like these? I'm looking for a few hundred. The Motorola ones were gray, but any color is OK.

Thanks AS. They would be made of a compressible rubber. I'm looking for a ridged material that wouldn't compress under tension.

We often use these under mounting brackets to take up space or to compensate for irregular surfaces.

Actually they started out being made of fibre but today the good new ones are made of nylon or polypropylene (the dangers of knowning a plumber).

But anyway try P/N SP 222 from E&T, this will give you 0.3125 thick with 0.5 OD and 0.257 ID, see:

Plenty of options depending on exactly what dimension is most critical. They take PayPal and credit cards.

Even Lowes and Home Depot have them in their speciality hardware section right along side cotter pins and such.

Whatever hardware store or home improvement center is nearby can probably order them in quantity for you.
