Need a control head changed- astro spectra

I'm working on an astro spectra that has a W7 head, but the codeplug is setup for a W9. I think the codeplug needs to be changed in a hex editor, but I'm not familiar with doing it, and was wondering if anyone has more experience changing it? I know it can be done as I've had different radios changed before. PM me if you can help me. Thanks!
