I want to play around with the voice announcement stuff in my XPR7550. I am able to go into the software and check to enable voice announcement, but it keeps everything below that greyed out. I have found in the software where I am supposed to load the voice files, so I have loaded a few, not the entire list.

On the voice announcement screen, all of the drop down options to select the file are greyed out. On the channel, the drop down to select the file for the channel announcement is also greyed. After I check the option for enable voice announcement, are there some steps I am missing?

Try loading the voice announce files, then reading the codeplug of the radio.
