GM900 accessory connector config programming

The GM900 accessory connector has some programmable pins and I need to program one of them as a COR for repeater use. It's the first time I do this and my guess is that the accessory connector programming is hidden inside the "service aids" menu. Correct?

Even though I had a radio connected I was unable to open this menu. I had it connected via the mic connector. Do I need to use the accessory connector programming cable or what other reason could explain this behaviour?

Regards
Martin

In the meantime I can answer my own question. Yes the accessory programming cable is needed, I made one tonight. The option for using Pin 24 of the accessory connector for flat TX data modulation (50 Hz to 3 kHz) is here:

F2 (Service Aids) > F9 (Hardware Config) > Data Modem Application Enabled

While the option to use pin 8 for COR is not in the service aids menu but here:

F4 (Change/Create/View Radio Codeplug Data) > F2 (Radio Features) > F9 (Misc) > Control Output Carrier Present

I just hadn't seen it yesterday. After all I plan on wiring as follows:

Pin 8 COR
Pin 10 GND
Pin 22 RSSI
Pin 24 TX Audio
Pin 25 RX Audio (unfiltered disc audio)

Because I don't want to modify the radios I'll make a mic plug cable for PTT. However I haven't tested all this yet.
