Im currently running a repeater with 2x CDM1550 LS+ UHF and wanted to link another repeater site to extend our coverage may i know how to do that without going through a voter system?

You don't need a voter for that. Just use a simplex link with a freq far enough away to not desense the local repeater input at each end. The repeater receiver at each site will key two transmitters at once. You could use the existing RICKs, but you'll need to balance the mic input impedances with a resistor bridge. You'll should turn your squelch tail down to zero to make it easier to use.

so each site will have 3 mobiles and 2x for RX & TX and 1for simplex to another site?

That is a weird split. Maybe you're using it as an example. In that case, yes - that is the concept. It looks like you're trying to set up a poor man's simulcast. As long as the two systems are far enough apart to not overlap coverage, you can get away with it. Otherwise, it will sound pretty bad. You are better off with two different repeater pairs linked together if the overlap is significant.

However, the doodad you linked on Ebay is uni-directional, and you need a three headed bi-directional cable. I suppose you could buy 6 of these cables to build the 2 you need.

We used to make the interface box the size of a pack of king size cigarettes for just that application. Problem was it cost too much to build.

Still have some of the circuit boards left.

Yes. You should buy three of those so you have hack them into two 3 headed cables.
