Hello

I am in need of a couple of chip caps that are used on the VHF R1225 PA board. The values I need (and are somewhat hard to find) are:

270pf@100V, and 240pf@100V. I noticed that the 270pf (2111078B53) are available from Motorola but the 240pf (2111078B52) are discontinued. Who would be a good source for them?

There is a 240 PF used in the UHF PA, 2113740F60.

I see the original is a NPO cap (stable capacitance with change in temperature) with a voltage rating of 100 volts.

Most of those places don't have them in stock, they just have the whole Motorola cataolgue (even the discontinued ones) and they order the parts 9or tey to) when someone places an order.

Thanks for the info, RF...I've never ordered from any of them and I was assuming that they had them in stock(big assumption, I know).

I don't know if they have minimum orders. They have a very full line of parts so you may find a few other things to order (I always have things like heatshrink and tools).

don't forget to use silver solder for these caps...

Silver bearing, lead free solder.. always clean off all the old solder.

These caps are smaller than the OEM, you probably want the larger size.

Looking for the PA Final chip caps for the UHF R1225 repeater. Anyone have about 4 sets of them for sale?
