Batboard

Hello,
I am a new user and just got my hands on my first commercial handheld the VHF XTS3000 II. Unfortunately when I powered it on the screen was really messed up. Any suggestions on how to tackle the problem?

Its a known problem with those... There is a fix here using an Iron or replace the display
