GM339 Selectable Scan

Is it possible to put a selectable scan option into the GM339 like is possible with the MCS2000 and XTL5000? On both my MCS and XTL I can go into the programming lists menu option then scan and from there select which channels I do and do not want in the scan list manually, even on my GM300 I can hold the scan button and go through the channels manually selecting or deselecting channels for the scan group and press scan to drop back out of the mode. Is this type of behaviour possible with the GM339? I've fiddled with it but cannot find such an ability to date and so far it is the only feature I'm really missing and finding it a great unit other than this missing feature. So much so that I was considering upgrading the MCS2000 to a GM339 as well (current GM339 is K band and MCS2000 is Q/R band as is the XTL but XTL won't rise to 477Mhz for CB 
( so MCS would go to S band GM339).
TIA for any info on this, as surely they wouldn't remove such a great user feature that even it's predecessor (GM300) had so I must just be missing something somewhere.
