OK I just recently got some GM300's however when I read them with the RSS it is showing Error Code 58, codeplug error.
The radios in question Are:

GM300 VHF 40 Watt 20 ch 16 pin accy
Model # M43GMC29C2AA

GM300 UHF 25 Watt 9 ch? 16 pin accy
Uknown Model #


Is there anyone who can help me out here like in means of having a codeplug for these radios? I dont know what to do right now with them. Thanks

Hi:

Sounds like you may have a " Corrupted" Logic
Board, as the GM300's never really had 20 Ch.

Factory Stock they are 16.

It could also mean your RSS is too old, but
I suspect the corrupted logic board in your
case since Error 58 means radio not supported.

If you have some Maxtrac RSS, you might check
and see if someone changed the configuration
from a GM series to a Radius / Maxtrac

Anyhow, restoring the code plug is not very
simple with respects to the GM series. I can
manytimes restore them, but it would be set
to the Factory Default settings.
