Has anyone had the following issues with a CDM VHF:
1.) On Mabas RED frequency, the transmit audio is distorted, unreadable, works great on all other frequencies.

2.) How do you get radio on power up to go to a designated channel ?

Thanks.

Perhaps you could decode your message by explaining what frequency you are talking about?

Wide/Narrow? PL/DPL? What country?

In 6.12.09 you can assign two home revert channels and assign two buttons to them, but no designated power up channel.

To get the radio to power up on a specific channel, put the radio on the desired channel, shut the radio off using the button in the volume knob, and then push the button again to turn it back on. Now when the radio is powered down with the truck's battery switch, when you apply power to it again, it will be on the desired channel.

To make the radio power up on a certain channel

1. go to that channel
2. Turn the radio Off with the power button
3. Turn the radio back on with the power button

That channel should now be set as the default power up channel
