If this has been discussed, can someone provide me the link;
I have an HT-1250 that when the MDC ID is displayed, (post PTT ID) the ID remains well after the transmission is over, or when another radios ID is decoded. Is there a time setting that I am missing to shorten the ID display time? It would be nice to shorten to a few seconds after the ID is decoded.
I noticed this also on my XTS5k.

You can adjust it in the 5k. Don't think you can in the Pro Series. Someone correct me if I am wrong

MSS-DAVE helped me with our apx6500's this is what I did:

Radio Ergonomics>>ID Display>>PTT ID Display>>Dispatch and Scan

Set the End of Voice timer for how long you want the ID to show during scanning.
