Waris series chargers, how to determine chemisty type?

Cliffs notes; We're finally upgrading our radio's from CLS's to a mix of HT750's and HT1250's. Since I'm buying most of the radio's as bulk lots, I need to pick up a few gang chargers. Every radio will end up getting a new, aftermarket 1100mAh battery.
I have a Impres WPLN4197 on it's way to me, as well as a HTN9005 (unsure of which revision). I currently have a HTN9005C. As I understand it, the Impres WPLN4197 will charge any Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh or Li-Ion, you just don't get the analytics / reconditioning benefits of having the Impres system. Our organization is entirely to cheap to buy Impres batteries, but I got a good deal on the charger.
Will any of those chargers have issues with Lithium Ion? By the time everything arrives I will have a total of 26 HT750 \ HT1250's, so I still need to pick up two more 6 bank chargers. Any particular models I should be hunting for?
Lastly, we are a very seasonal organization. While a few of us work on the attraction year round, the radio's only get used ~32 nights per year for 4-6 hours per night. During our "off season", is it best to simply keep the radio on the charger? Take the radio off of the charger and remove the battery? I've always kept the chargers on all year and kept the radio's in the gang chargers with our current fleet of CLS 1000 \ 1110's. They have a small Li Ion cell in them, many are original since our start in 2004 and they still hold an acceptable charge. I just wanted to get any additional input.
Any advice is appreciated.
