Astro25 R19.60.05 released

How nice they release a lateral version less than 2 months after the last.

From the release notes:

And not even an option to fix for free the Site and Call List Alias that they broke quite some time ago? I guess if it doesn't brick the radio Motorola doesn't offer that and most will have to shell out $75.00 to bring back the feature.

I have to say I'm disgusted that Motorola is still charging for ASTRO25 firmware updates, especially since the newer APX platform upgrades can be done for free!

All it would take is a simple tweak in CPS so a FLASHkey is not required during an upgrade; at the very least, as KS4VT suggests, they should make it free to fix their own f**kups!

They do, if circumstances warrant. You can open up a software case, or a case under a FSB, and once you provide the necessary documentation you will be sent a refresh flashkey for the quantity of radios affected, free of charge.

Naw, even if it bricks they still want you to pay for the flat rate. :lol:
