RMN5068 RMN5068A for general audio use

Hi,
I am a recording engineer. How could I wire the RMN5068 for use with "line level" audio, like using a Shure SM57 into a microphone preamplifier? Would I use a balanced XLR connection or unbalanced TS? What wires, etc?
I believe the ohms should end up being in the 300-600 ohms going into a microphone preamplifier. But do these mics have their own preamp?
Also, is there any difference in audio quality between the RMN5068 and the RMN5068A? The A seems half the price. I've heard hese mics have a cool effect and sound when recorded as opposed to a "normal" studio mic...
Thanks guys/gals!
