Batboard

It's not the usual "Dat Dat". Can anyone explain? The radio seems to work good and has no error codes. I have attached a link to what it does.

That's what Motorola calls the "musical" tone. It's a selection in the CPS, under one of the general settings tabs. That, the standard tone, and no tone are the only choices.

you get more options in the noises the damn thing makes, than you do signalling! thanks moto.
