Motorola N1016B paging encoder hook up

Post by firedog359 »

Hello all,I have recently aquired a very nice GE Mastr II VHF high band base station in the 30" deskmate configuration. The unit came from a local rescue squad and it was set up with a GE local controller, desk mic and a Motorola N1016B paging encoder. The problem is,the encoder had been disconnected when the radio was taken out of service and I don't know how to hook it back up.There is a 4 conductor cable with spade terminals coming off the local controller that looks like it might have been hooked to the screw terminals on the encoder but I can't be sure.I have the manuals for the controller and the encoder but each manual only deals with interfacing to their own brands and models.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
