HT50/P100 Question

If I have a VHF HT50 or P100, but the label is long gone, is there an easy way of telling if I have a low power (H23....) versus a 5W version? Reason I ask...I'd like to make legal MURS radios out of them by programming the two wide deviation
frequencies into them. At least ONE in the batch is low power, so there is a good chance the others are....

I am willing to open up and look at the RF board, I assume that the final on the 5W versions would be a bit more substantial?

Thanks,

Purpleman.

Read the radio, you need RSS, That should give you the model number.

Ahh...Do not have that, I was going to send it out to a technician (probably one who reads Batboards).

OK, I programmed and repaired hundreds of the HT50/P100 radios. Still have my custom programming cable.

As it turns out, the lone H23 model has no "HI/LO" toggle switch, which makes sense.....
