What is the max current draw you can have on pin 13 (switched batt +) on a cdm 1550 accessary connector. I am wanting to hook a zetron model 25 paging encoder up to a cdm 1550 and didn't want to run a power cable all the way back to the power supply. The encoder draws 2.5 amps.
Thanks in advance

Re: Current draw on accessary connector
somewhere under 1A (probably closer to 500ma) IIRC, safer to tap the power feed to the CDM and fuse appropriately.

Re: Current draw on accessary connector
Pin 13 of the accessory connector (J0501-8) is supplied power from U0611, a LM2941.
The LM2941 is rated for 1A.
There is also a 0 ohm resistor/jumper (R0533) in line between U0611 and J0501.
