Problem with t3011DX KVL

I've had (3) similar KVL's over the years and all operated the same, Power up goes to 'Ready' and then I either went to 'Sequence' to load from a stored key or hit 'load' to enter a new key just like described in the BatLabs KVL instructions.
This new acquisition isn't behaving the same, power up goes to 'Busy' for a few seconds then displays' GrouP1 ' . When "Load' is pressed display reads 'GO 0 to 0' if ' Load ' is pressed again display reads ' 00 OFFSEt " then locks up. Anyone have any ideas to get this going right ? I'm told it was a T3011CX upgraded to a DX.
