Hello All

I have a Motorola MotoTrbo XPR4550 that seems to scan super slow. Does anyone know if I can speed up the scan function?

What makes you think it's scanning slow? It's not like a ham radio, or scanner where you actually see the frequencies change as the radio scans. GARY

When someone talks on another channel other than my priority channel, I miss about 1-2 seconds of the transmission.

That's about as good as it's going to get for you, I'm afraid. Motorola in general isn't known for fast scan speed, and using priority scan compounds the issue for other, non priority channels.
