RICK Bidirectional problem

hi all,
trying to set up a rick for bidirectional. following the directions sheet, setting the switches, it will operate fine in one direction, but when transmitting in the opposite direction, it pulses TX several times a second continuously. the radios are set up correctly. i have used an aftermarket MRE1032 bidirectional adapter and it works FINE in both directions, its just having lower audio issues no matter what i set the audio adjustment to, and hoping a rick will have better audio.

i have tried the rick on my properly configured GR400 (using 2 16 channel GM300s) and the other pair of radios im using are UHF M120 to a VHF GM300
on each setup, it works 1 way but only pulses in the other. i have even tried different dip switch configurations (many many many) and nomatter what i do, it just pulses TX in opposite direction...

i have searched batlabs and found other issues, but not my issue.
any ideas?

Have you verified that PTT is "pulsing" with a voltmeter? PTT is supposed to be driven by COR from the rx radio. Is COR steady on the voltmeter?

What is the IO port set to on the GM300? I have the opposite to you, a M120 VHF and GM300 UHF in crossband with an after-market cable and had to set the GM300 accy port to phone patch for it to behave.
